Getting started
A few steps to start following a strategy with simulated money.
Use your invited email
Open Sign in. On your first visit, choose Sign up and enter the email your administrator approved. Enter the verification code from your inbox. Invitations expire after seven days; your administrator can renew yours.
Choose your strategy and budget
Complete the setup in your dashboard. Select the approved Telegram strategy, a simulated starting balance and your limits. Confirm paper trading to begin following new alerts. Earlier channel messages are not replayed into your portfolio.
Review each copy
Portfolio shows your results and open positions. Activity shows entries, exits and skipped alerts. Open a result for its reason. Use Settings to adjust your copy rules or pause the simulation from Portfolio.
Do I need to connect Robinhood?
Your administrator’s configured market-data connection supports this private paper test. Your own connection is available under Settings → Robinhood connection. Complete authorization privately on Robinhood, then return to CopyKitty. No deposit is needed for paper testing. The provider’s access grant can be broader than the features currently enabled in CopyKitty.
Does the trader need a Robinhood account?
Not to publish Telegram alerts. The strategy owner authorizes the channel connection once, then posts supported text signals normally. Followers use their own rules. Reading an approved protected channel does not require reposting its messages.
Why was an alert skipped?
Common reasons include an unclear instruction, an old alert, an unavailable quote, insufficient paper budget or no matching position to sell. A one-contract copy can close fully on a partial exit because options use whole contracts. Never repost old entries to force a fill; check the recorded reason first.
Connection or login trouble?
Use the exact email that was invited. If access expired or a verification email does not arrive, ask your administrator to check or renew the invitation in People. Check Settings before reconnecting Robinhood; temporary provider errors do not always require a new login.
For help, share the time, the page and the error text with the administrator who invited you. Keep passwords, verification codes, access tokens and full account numbers private.
Before real trading
Real trading is disabled. It requires completed broker validation, strategy-owner permission, your reviewed limits and explicit live opt-in, followed by a separate release. A login, connection or deposit cannot turn it on.
